Teaching Qualifications
If you are looking to develop new skills and enhance your professional practice, EDI's recognised teaching qualifications will help you to achieve your goals.
- Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (CertTEFL) - a Level 4 accredited qualification designed for people who have little or no experience of teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) but who wish to embark on a career as an EFL teacher.
- First Certificate for Teachers of Business English ( FTBE) - a supplementary qualification for qualified teachers of general English, providing them with an introduction to Teaching Business English (TBE).

Teacher workshops and seminars
With more than 5000 centres around the world, face-to-face workshops and training sessions with tutors and teachers are a great opportunity for us to share our expertise on the qualifications we offer and to receive feedback and suggestions from our teaching community. We hold workshops and seminars for our range of qualifications, at which we share practical information on teaching and learning techniques, tips for examination preparation and general information on the qualifications and their assessments.
